As musicians and people, Dead Or Alive thrive on challenge. People who work with us are always the ones least likely to break under pressure. Our dancers, although not all of them are trained, some even dancers by chance rather than choice, were chosen because they are great performers, whose energy, ambition and street sense I respect and admire. With musicians, I felt the need to experiment more in order to grow artistically.
The "Clean Up Or Die" motive in these photos is a message you people must take seriously in every respect. It applies to our lives, and our future as a race. It means safe sex, no drugs, kindness to our environment and endangered species; and the final acknowledgement that we must slow down our greed.
The youth of today are the adults of tomorrow - what if that day never comes?
